Who is responsible for your data?
When you participate in the TrackSave 12-Week Drive Safely Programme, your employer (the fleet operator who has enrolled you) is the Data Controller for your personal data. Your employer decides how and why your data is used in connection with the programme.
Performance Bonus Limited (trading as TrackSave) operates the training platform on behalf of your employer. We act as a Data Processor — we process your data only as instructed by your employer and for no other purpose.

What data do we collect?
The following personal data is collected when you register and participate in the programme:
- Full name
- Work email address
- Date and time each training module is completed
- Quiz scores and pass/fail status for each module
- Overall programme completion status
No financial data, health data, or data classed as special category under UK GDPR is collected through this programme.
Why do we collect this data?
Your data is collected and used for the following purposes:
- To deliver the TrackSave 12-week online coaching programme to you.
- To confirm your progress through the programme and ensure modules are released week by week.
- To generate a timestamped training completion record, which forms part of your employer’s fleet compliance documentation.
- To allow your employer to demonstrate, where required, that structured driver training has been provided — for example, to insurers, regulators, or in the event of an incident investigation.
Legal basis: The lawful basis for processing your data is the legitimate interests of your employer in maintaining a safe fleet, meeting their duty of care, and complying with insurance and regulatory requirements.
Who can see your data?
Your training data is accessible to your fleet manager or designated administrator at your employer, via the TrackSave manager dashboard. Performance Bonus Limited staff may access data solely for the purpose of operating and supporting the platform.
Your individual quiz scores and completion status are visible to your manager. They are not shared with other drivers.
We do not sell your data or share it with any third party for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with insurers or regulatory bodies only where legally required, or where necessary to defend a legal claim.
How long is your data kept?
Your training record — including completion dates and quiz scores — is retained for a minimum of 12 months from your enrolment date. Where a longer retention period is required for compliance purposes, relevant records may be retained for up to six years.
If you leave your organisation, your account is deactivated. Your training completion record remains on the platform to preserve the audit trail. You may request deletion of your personal data in accordance with your rights below.
